The individual and family care in Vännäs actively works to develop our operations to work more preventively.

To succeed, we work closely together. We collaborate and work towards a common goal; to provide everyone living here with the best conditions for a good life. Our close-knit environment is evident as we help each other and leverage each other's strengths. The individual and family care consists of authority exercise and open care. The authority exercise includes reception group, child group, adult group, assistance officers, and family law. There are 20 employees working here. The open care consists of the treatment team, support team, and job step, with 15 employees.

Job Responsibilities

The individual and family care in Vännäs is now seeking a social worker for the adult group, temporary position. You will be part of the adult group working with the target group aged 18 and above. The adult group consists of a senior social worker and 5 social workers who handle cases within adult and financial assistance. We are looking for a person who wants to contribute to the ongoing development work within the organization. You will work with authority exercise based on the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Abusers Act (LVM). This includes cases regarding social psychiatry, harmful use and dependence, homelessness, domestic violence, and financial assistance. Your work will involve assessing adults' needs, making decisions about interventions, and following up on granted interventions.

Qualifications

A degree in social work, with experience in the authority exercise of social services. We are looking for a knowledgeable and engaged social worker who is interested in and has good knowledge in the areas of financial assistance, substance abuse/dependence, social psychiatry, and domestic violence. An important quality is your ability to collaborate and create good relationships both internally and with external actors. You are curious, solution-oriented, and have a desire to contribute to the group's development work. You must have good communication skills in both spoken and written language. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A valid driver's license is required.
